PRD's QuickStart Collection is built on proven Tier 1 toolset technology, Converse. QuickStart Collection
can be quickly and efficiently modified to fit your specific requirements.
QuickStart Collection is designed to allow information to be collected from any data sources in a consistent, controlled, and dependable manner.
If QuickStart Collection does not support your switch as standard, its flexibilty allows a new switch configuration to be easily accomodated.
The system is implemented in a distributed topology that allows collection sites to continue even after loss of central services
such as the file server or database server. In the latter case when these services come online again
the collector sites will resynchronise with the central servers and the data will be processed through centralisation and onto downstream systems.
All switches can be set up on their own collection schedule, or combined into a single schedule.
QuickStart Collection's Key Features include:
- Gap Detection
- Corruption Detection logic based on CRC32 or MD5
- Hot Backup Collector (depending on configuration of X.25 network).
