A rules based and parallel processing engine. TAPS rates
and processes mass transactions based on data held in multiple
databases. As a transaction, analysis and processing
system it is particularly applicable to the communications
industry. All data passes through TAPS validation,
mediation, pricing and error correction modules before it
is stored or transmitted to downstream systems.
TAPS creates multiple output forms to serve downstream
needs and runs on a wide range of ODBC compliant
databases including Oracle and MS SQL servers.
With no ‘native’ formats, processing flat files or database
tables is a matter of definition. Costs are kept to a
minimum as new data can be quickly added and
redefined without compiling the software.
Providing all the standard audit controls, TAPS allows
customers to edit, validate, aggregate and summarise
data and supports error recycling and correction.
