December 2018 - Westcoast selects QuickStart Billing for Azure.  

PRD have been awarded the data processing and billing contract for the Westcoast Group. PRD have delivered phase one with an initial billing requirement of circa £70 million pa for Azure Services, CSP and Nfon telephony.

A Custom version of QuickStart Billing will now be further enhanced for other Westcoast business processes, including integration into Microsoft’s Partner Centre API and delivering QuickStart Billing as a BOBO (Billing-On-Behalf-Of) to enable Westcoast to offer white-labelled billing services to their reseller base.

Simon Adams, Director at PRD, commented “Westcoast presented our development teams with complex functional and scalable requirements, all within our capabilities and helping further evolve QuickStart Billing both as a custom solution and as an out-of-the-box system with nearly 200 end users. We look forward to working in partnership with Westcoast, meeting future requirements for next generation billing.”


June 2018 - We are recruiting 

Billing Analyst to join our busy expanding support team.

We are looking to expand our customer support team due to continued customer growth. The role will include dealing with general customer support queries, completing monthly bill runs, helping to resolve any billing issues and ensuring our customers can exploit the full functionality and potential of our QuickStart Billing platforms.

From time-to-time, the scope will include assisting with new customer on-boarding processes with setting up new customers, liaising with the technical & development team on customer specific enhancements and developments, as well as new customer training as and when required. This is usually performed in-house or web-based.

Anyone with telecoms billing or related background will be preferred, but not essential as overall personality and willingness to learn is equally important. Experience of the QuickStart Billing platform is not essential as training will be given.

April 2017 - North America compliance 

More to follow.  We have just rolled out a US compliant version of QuickStart to a large UK telecoms expanding into North America. Their options included sourcing a US based billing vendor to cover their US requirements. Instead we developed the required functionality within QuickStart. This can be deployed as additional functionality within an existing customer system, or as a separate QuickStart US system.  

We already have US based customers and experience of North America going back to the late 1990s with Verizon Wireless and other communication corporations. Our systems support European and Euro billing (including language translations), however US tax legislation is extremely complex, requiring a new level of compliance capabilities within QuickStart.  

This highlights the customisable nature of our underlying technology and how we work with our customers, meeting their expanding requirements within QuickStart. Our customers are satisfied, while for us our technical capabilities and functionality are constantly evolving. 


February 2017 - New web site coming soon  

New web-site coming soon. With continued growth, constant product enhancements and development of our web-based services, we are up dating our web-site. Should be available in late Autumn 2016. This will include social media activities and analysis. We will be employing social media specialists to take care of all our media roles. So expect to hear more from us.

June 2015 - QuickStart Billing Platform 

As part of the continued development of our QuickStart Billing platform, this now includes APIs into SAGE One. This is standard functionality added to our QuickStart suite of billing products. As a reminder, our “Pro” products can be customised to meet virtual any application and functionality, bespoke and unique to you only, unlimited in scalability. Our product suites are web-based, hosted from one of our Data Centres. QS Pro version includes the option for hosting from your own data centre if preferred.

March 2013, First Quarter of 2013

PRD have been awarded three new contracts for QuickStart Go during the first quarter of 2013. We have also received confirmation of contract renewal from a significant US based telecoms operators to continue with our billing and mediation services and toolset solutions. 

In addition, New York University have also renewed QuickStart billing for another 12 months. These events round off an excellent first quarter for us.


February 2013 - New Staff 

PRD are delighted to welcome Louise Annette to the QuickStart Billing team. Louise will further strengthen the QuickStart support team, and will take responsibilities for new account relationships. The role comes about due to continued customer growth of our QuickStart Billing platform. 

Louise joins us with considerable customer support experience and we all look forward to Louise establishing herself within the team.

Louise is about to complete her NVQ in business studies. We wish her well for her finals in spring this year.

January 2013 - NTT Communications 

NTTE have awarded PRD a contract for QuickStart Billing. PRD have customised a bespoke system for NTTE to meet their customer reporting requirements under a fully managed web-based service agreement.

NTT Europe is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTT Communications, which is the international arm of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Group (NTT Group) - the largest telecommunications company in the world.

NTT Europe is headquartered in London and offers a wide range of customised enterprise solutions with expertise in private, public and hybrid cloud networks, global Tier-1 Internet backbone and related ICT solutions to enterprises worldwide.


December 2012 - Fully Hosted Billing and Call Reporting solution delivered to Inclarity

PRD are delighted to have delivered a bespoke billing solution for Inclarity Limited. Following four months of intense development and testing to tight deadlines, the system went fully live for November 2012. The solution replaced three aging legacy systems previously used by Inclarity. 

The solution is a fully managed and hosted version based on our QuickStart Billing platform. It also includes development of a new Call Reporting system, allowing Inclarity’s users and partners to create their own call management reports. 

Inclarity are a leading UK telecoms provider, having been supplying Hosted VoIP services since 2003. We are proud to be working together, as we are with all our customers.


March 2012 - Introducing Cloud billing by PRD 

PRD are delighted to announce the launch of QS Go, near off-the-shelf cloud based billing solution suitable for most core resellers. It is designed to complement our more complex and feature rich QuickStart Pro system, more suitable for telecoms and CP’s with bespoke requirements in mind.

September 2010 - New Clients

30th September 2010 - PRD Technologies are delighted to announce five new clients for its Quickstart Billing suite in a successful second fiscal quarter of 2010.

Four are established UK SME telecoms resellers with requirements ranging from near off-the-shelf versions of Quickstart billing requiring minimal customisation for hosted and fully managed (bureau) services. Another is for a leading provider in South Africa. This later opportunity includes real-time collection systems interacting directly with the switch, together with other IT and software business related solutions over a phased delivery period. Processing volumes near 10 plus million per month (20 million minutes) and growing. 

These new customers further underline the flexibility of our Quickstart Billing solutions and other product suites in supporting an extremely diverse range of telecom related activities, both in the UK and overseas.

We look forward working together with these new customers. Well done to everyone concerned.


June 2010 - Quality Award

Following an independent assessment in June 2009, PRD was awarded ISO 9001 accreditation at the first attempt. This award is recognised globally and achieved by only a handful of UK business every year. The award was successfully renewed in June 2010 and a reflection of the quality of service we provide our customers and standards in which we conduct our business.


May 2010 - Acquisition of Face Value

Good news everybody! PRD have acquired Face Value Ltd. 

Face Value provides bureau-billing services to mostly UK based telecom resellers, and has been doing so for 15 years. 

PRD have retained key Face Value staff, which will enable PRD to continue to provide Face Value customers with the same service they previously enjoyed.

Using the existing point-of-contact structure, the transfer of the overall management has been a smooth transition so far. PRD are now able to offer the FaceValue customers access to our advanced billing system technology and other services if they wish, including customer care and support. All Face Value customers will be offered the opportunity to migrate across to the QuickStart Billing system on the same terms as their existing contracts… no extra cost.

For Face Value customers and staff, this acquisition offers improvements and opportunities for the future. We look forward to working together with our new customers and colleagues, and thank everyone in anticipation of their kind support.
